As a group practice owner and therapist, I believe it’s crucial to recognize the prevalence of mental health challenges and provide support for those struggling.

Mental health is an integral part of our overall well-being, yet it’s often overlooked or misunderstood. According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), 1 in 5 adults in the U.S. experiences mental illness each year. These conditions can take many forms, including depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and more.

The good news is that mental health conditions are treatable, and recovery is possible with the right support and resources. Mental Health Awareness Month serves as a reminder to prioritize our mental well-being and to support those who are struggling.
