Ideas For Self Care

Tis the season to…honestly: what season is it even? While many joke that its March 295th, we can’t help but wonder where the time went. And in the blink of an eye we somehow made it to the end of the year. Not without its hardships where at times we felt that time dragged on forever. In this weird stage of the year, reflection is often key and crucial to prepare for the next year. It’s common to do. And more than likely, you set some new year’s resolutions for 2020. Ones that, quite possibly, you had a hard time achieving.

But a lesson that we can all agree upon is that self care is more important than we realized. While 2020 continued to throw curveball after curveball at us, our batteries drained more and more. And the most common way to combat the anger, frustration, and overwhelm is often being able to unplug and treat yourself. Ya know, the self-care thing people have talked about for years?

So what is it that really makes being able to take part in self care so difficult for us?

With the season of giving upon us: it’s time to also give to yourself. While also giving back! Several small businesses were hit with the inability to have doors remain open. But for the few that are still open and operating, we encourage you to check in to find some gifts for yourself and truly unplug:
