New Jersey In Home Services for Children

Therapy Connection is proud to offer in home and in community

services for those that are eligible for services under the Children’s System of Care. We have a team of clinicians providing services throughout the state of New Jersey and service all counties in New Jersey. We are dedicated to ensuring the needs of all youth and their family members are met. We provide the following services:

Biopsychosocial Needs Assessment

The Biopsychosocial Needs Assessment (BPS NA) is a tool that is used to assess the needs of the youth. This assessment is completed by a licensed clinician to determine the treatment needs for your youth inclusive of the needs for the family. This treatment planning tool is used as one of the first steps in creating the treatment plan and obtaining proper services for your youth in order to obtain the support needed. Our clinical team is trained in administering this assessment tool. Our clinicians utilize evidence based practices and adhere to the standard of ethics and laws within their scope of practice. As such, they always have your best interest in mind in order for you and your family to get the highest level of support possible for your needs. We believe the foundation of this assessment is crucial in recognizing and obtaining proper services for your child.

Intensive In Community

Intensive In-Community (IIC) services are services provided in home and throughout the community. Services are provided by a licensed clinician trained in working with youth. Our team of clinicians engages with each youth individually and focuses on the needs of each child and family member to increase success towards goals that are established as a family. The overall goal and intent is to offer support and transition each youth to become as independent as possible in the areas in which they are currently seeking support. Intensive services are administered and followed through to prevent higher level of care needed.

Intensive In Home

Intensive In-Home (IIH) services are services provided in home and throughout the community. Services are provided by a licensed clinician trained in working with youth. Our team of clinicians engages with each youth individually and focuses on the needs of each child and family member to increase success towards goals that are established as a family. IIH services are often utilized to support through co-occuring mental health challenges with youth that may also be diagnosed with Developmental Disabilities. The overall goal and intent is to offer support and transition each youth to become as independent as possible in the areas in which they are currently seeking support. Intensive services are administered and followed through to prevent higher level of care needed.

Behavioral Assistant

Behavioral Assistants (BA) provide interventions within the home and community. Services are provided by a licensed clinician trained in working with youth. Our behavioral assistants work together with an IIC or IIH provider and collaborate on the needs of the individual youth as well as the needs of the family. Goals are set and can be changed as each youth masters the goal. Behavior modification, behavior management, and social/emotional needs are some areas that are addressed by utilizing a behavior assistant. Our behavior assistant team ensures that your child continues to grow and learn.
